Preparation For My Next Class

Later today I will be practicing my lesson for my next class. Not the next class of the day, but the next class I am going to teach. I am going to, to be safe, practice giving the lesson to a smaller class before I teach the Advanced Placement class. I don't want to sound unprofessional when teaching the kids who are in another classroom because of their surprisingly good grades. I will also, I am pretty sure, get to see the class and/or classroom that I will be teaching later today as well. Either way, teaching them will be fun. Heck, its always fun to go above and beyond my expectations. And it is proving a point. If you haven't figured it out already, I am teaching the lesson to a smaller class first so that I can get a good idea of what I will say, not so I can practice being in front of a crowd. I am not scared of standing on stage in front of tons of people and performing. If I embarrass myself, I just turn it into a joke and laugh along with the crowd. I just want to sound professional when I am teaching kids who have higher IQs than me. So wish me luck with that.
