Math Meditation?

So, recently the fact that I cannot, for the life of me, stop thinking deep, fortuitous, sometimes superfluous, but always kind of taxing thoughts. And whenever I look at a complicated math problem, to solve it, I often read it over and over again, instantly forgetting each thing as I see it. Then I just stare at it, blankly. Eventually I may find myself solving it. But the point is, when I do that, I stare blankly. Not much of anything in my head. Could I use complex math to rest my mind? But the problem is, when I do stare blankly, my mind isn't fully at rest. It is still trying to solve it. Well, to some extent trying to solve it. I just don't know. What do you all think?
