Interesting Observations
I just got back from P.E. In PE we are currently doing track and field. But more specifically, today we did javelin throwing. Not surprisingly, a decent amount of students were messing around, displaying quite the inappropriate and imbecilic behavior. I do not see what about it is so funny to them. But other than that, there was one student who noticed my review of the school, on the school website. Interesting. I do not see why that student was looking at school reviews in the first place. Also, he knew it was me. And my profile picture was taken before I transitioned to my shorter hair and summer hat. And today is hat day. So that might mean that the student must have, out of curiosity, been trying to find out more about me. By listening in on my conversations with teachers and seeing where I go, as well as, perhaps, searching online. Students tend to do that, in this context, instead of simply asking some teachers. For some odd reason they see that as better than the simple and best option. Based on that, I am guessing that they have been listening to different rumors, and actually believes them to some extent. The distance that students put between themselves and obvious answers sometimes is kind of amusing to me. And it would be more amusing if it wasn't one of the things I am trying to eradicate.
